The Karate Kid saga continues with Cobra Kai - Seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4. Thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Johnny Lawrence's life has taken a tumultuous turn as he struggles to forget a haunting past. Seeking redemption, he reopens the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting the longstanding rivalry between himself and the now successful Daniel LaRusso.

In Season 2, the down-and-out Johnny Lawrence seeks to revive his fortunes by resurrecting the Cobra Kai dojo, further intensifying his competitive feud with Daniel LaRusso.

Season 3 finds the characters reeling in the aftermath of a violent high school brawl between their dojos, leaving Miguel in a precarious condition. As Daniel searches for answers in his past, Johnny seeks redemption, while the manipulative Kreese further indoctrinates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance.

In Season 4, the prosperous L.A. car dealer LaRusso still feels the sting of losing his mentor, Mr. Miyagi, who had schooled him in martial arts as a teenager. Meanwhile, the down-and-out janitor Johnny Lawrence seeks new purpose by reopening the controversial Cobra Kai dojo where he trained in his youth. Fate once again intertwines the adolescent rivalry between these two men in their middle age.

The Karate Kid (1984) follows an elderly martial arts expert, Mr. Miyagi, as he teaches a high schooler, Daniel, to defend himself from bullies. In The Karate Kid Part II (1986), Daniel accompanies his mentor, Mr. Miyagi, to Miyagi's childhood home in Okinawa, where Miyagi confronts his old rival and Daniel inadvertently makes a new one of his own. The Karate Kid Part III (1989) sees the ostracized villain, John Kreese, attempt to gain revenge on Daniel and Miyagi, with the help of a Vietnam War comrade who is the wealthy owner of a toxic waste disposal business.
